I’m 26 and live on Long Island, NY with my husband, where we are blessed to be surrounded by an awesome family and the greatest friends two people could ever ask for. September 23rd was 1 full year already that we have been married and it’s been the best year of my life (as my husband often reminds me- have I mentioned he’s a wise-ass)! Time flies when you’re having fun!

We agreed long before we were even married that we wanted to have children and decided we didn’t want to wait long after we were married to start trying. To be quite honest I thought I would get pregnant immediately, given my age and health. Little did we know we would be faced with a few challenges along the way. Our experiences so far have truly changed my perspective on many things in life, given me a slightly harder “shell”, and also given new meaning to “The Miracle of Life”.

Hopefully we will be blessed and achieve our little miracle real soon!

For now, our two dogs Bella and Cooper- an English Bull Dog and Chocolate Lab respectively, test my patience each and everyday. I feel they are preparing me just slightly for the difficulties I will encounter once motherhood sets in. For this I love them; among other reasons of course. I believe that animals, dogs especially, can teach us so many things. The number one and probably most important thing though, is unconditional love. Just take a look at this picture, this is unconditional love.
